        VVS Sardar Patel PU College was started in the year 2004 as a response to the request and demand for a reputed Co-Ed PU College in and around Basaveshwaranagar.

        PUC is a crucial phase in a student’s academic career and demands focused attention, constant and consistent efforts and an organised study pattern. An institution set in a serene atmosphere would best suit to provide the above said requirements.

      In 2004,  VVS,  a 47 year old organisation was all set to open yet another PU College to meet the demands of the day. Hence VVS Sardar Patel PU College was established in the Mangaladhama Campus at Basaveshwaranagar.

       The activities of the College began in an auspicious way seeking the blessings of the Divine and the devoted educationists. The light of knowledge was lit by the Chairman, Sri. P. R. Mundewadi, the Secretary Sri. K. N. Srihari and the Joint Secretary Sri. P. G. Dwarakanath.  Lighting the lamp marked the beginning of all academic activities of the newly getting established VVS Sardar Patel PU College.

       The constant support and guidance of the Management and the hard work and dedicated efforts of the Principal and Faculty members has made the college a sought after choice to those aspiring PU Science and Commerce students.
